What is the Public IP Address?

A public IP Address is a number that uniquely identifies a device on the Internet such as a computer or cell phone.
It is assigned by the Internet Service Provider (ISP) and is used for devices to communicate with each other.
When a device sends a message to another device, it uses its public IP address to identify who it is sending to. The receiving device can then use the public IP address to return the message to the original device.
